Guest house in saigon was the only guest house that we really spent and slept over in it.
not forget to mention, that we have paid for one room just for take a bath in siem riep and it cost US$20. Silly huh… we missed calculated that supposed we should not check in to hotel cos we have to move to another city back to saigon city by taking a nite bus.
Unfortunately seam reap city is not a backpacker friendly or maybe just my opinion on that day bcos everything in this city we have paid more than in saigon city.
Back to saigon..
What i amazed in saigon is its internet broadband. Cos even we’re stayin in a guest house each of us still can internet streaming and i can download song i loved to.
I recommend this guest house, well not sure if its cheap enough. A room with AC, bathtub, balcony, flat tv, fan, 2 kingsize bed exclude breakfast cost US$25/nite.
This guest house quite near with backpacker site and also located in central town.
You could find money exchange, travel agent next to this guest house and do remind about your wellness nite and surprisingly this one also not to loud because of the cafe’ s soundsystem which located next to your room.
we choose to stay in pham ngu lao street cos its located in the busy area, a lot of place to dine in, souvenirs shops and cafe that full with a tourists like us.
